Initiated in October 1999, the Sport Management Student Association (SMSA) is open to any Seton Hall undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in the sport business. The organization is totally student-run, under the supervision of a sport management faculty advisor. The SMSA meets every other Tuesday of the month at 8:30 p.m. in a room to be determined in Jubilee Hall.

Some of the activities coordinated by this group include:

  • NFL Draft Trip

  • Madison Square Garden Tour

  • 6th Annual SMSA Blood Drive

  • Army-Navy football tailgate at Giant Stadium

  • Trips to the Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey Halls of Fame

  • Stillman School of Business basketball tailgate

  • 2nd Annual SMSA Trivia Night

Sport Management Honorary

  • Alpha Chi Lambda is the Sport Management honor society, founded at Seton Hall and sponsored by the SMSA and the Center for Sport Management.  Students meeting set requirements are inducted after their junior or senior year.
