PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
The Management Department sponsors two student professional groups: the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). These organizations provide opportunities for students to become more fully involved in the management field.
APICS The department has joined with the Central Jersey Chapter of APICS, a national society of professionals concerned with managing all facets of input-output conversion processes. Students gain exposure to the profession through chapter meetings and plant visits.
SHRM This international professional society is dedicated to all aspects of managing human resources. The Seton Hall Chapter is sponsored by the North Jersey/Rockland Chapter. SHRM provides interaction between students and executives, an important opportunity for professional networking.
