Scherreik
Susan
Scherreik is the founding director of the Center for
Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stillman School of
Business and a visiting Professor in the Department
of Management. Before joining the Stillman School
in 2003, Professor Scherreik was an editor at
Business Week magazine. Professor Scherreik holds a
B.A. (History) Rutgers College and an M.B.A. from
Columbia University, where she was a Knight-Bagehot
Fellow. She is a contributor to
Writing About Business, The New Columbia Knight-Bagehot
Guide to Economics and Business Journalism.
In her role as founding director of the Center for
Entrepreneurial Studies, Professor Scherreik has
developed educational programs in entrepreneurial
studies for undergraduate and graduate students,
created a lecture series featuring well-known
entrepreneurs, hosted events for the business
community and helped to create a student
entrepreneurship club. Professor Scherreik
co-teaches Entrepreneurship 7540, an M.B.A. course
she helped to create. Professor Scherreik has served
as a judge in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the
Year contest for Jersey in 2005 and 2006. Professor
Scherreik is a member of the Board of Trustees of
Community Blood Services in Paramus, N.J. |
