BUCCINO SCHOLARSHIP:
Once
accepted to both the Stillman School and the Leadership Program, students
will automatically be considered for the Gerald Buccino Scholarship, which
may provide up to $5,000.00 per year for four years of undergraduate studies.
The awardee will also be given an exciting opportunity to be mentored by
Gerald P. Buccino, a prominent business entrepreneur and Seton Hall alumnus.
Dr. Buccino is Chairman and Executive Officer of Buccino & Associates, Inc., a national turnaround workout practice founded in Chicago in 1981 and now headquartered in New York City. The firm has served over 800 clients in its 22 year history.
Dr. Buccino was born and raised in New Jersey. He is a member of Seton Hall University Board of Regents, Trustee, Chairman of the Advancement Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.
Recently, Dr. Buccino is one of three entrepreneurs, nationwide, who has been selected to receive the 2005 Beta Gamma Sigma Medallion for Entrepreneurship. The Stillman School of Business is proud that one of our alumni is so honored and that, as we seek to expand our expertise in entrepreneurship, he earns this particular award.
“Having Dr. Buccino as my mentor is like having a second father. He is always willing to give advice in both business and life. The experience has been invaluable,” Monica B. Makowski, Buccino Scholar for the Class of 2006.
