On Sunday, June 27, 2004, a group of 19 departed from
Newark-Liberty International to Barcelona to begin a 10-day excursion
focusing on the history, culture and economy of Spain and France. The
group included 15 Stillman School of Business students (12 MBA or MSIB
students, 2 undergraduates, 1 recently-graduated undergraduate), 1 student
from the University of Puerto Rico's Graduate School of Business
Administration, 1 participants outside of our academic community, and 2
Stillman School professors (Dr. Lozada and Dr. Kritz).
Our itinerary was as follows:

Tour of Barcelona. Visit the Gothic
Cathedral and Pueblo Español. In the afternoon we will have the lecture
on Doing Business in Spain |

Free Day. Visits to the
Forum Barcelona, or the
beaches in Barcelona and Sitges. |

July 1 |
Day trip from Cataluña (Barcelona) to the
Basque Country (Bilbao). Stop in Zaragoza |

July 2 |
Tour of the Guggenhaim Museum in Bilbao;
Visit to the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce. Continue to San Sebastián, then across the
border to Biarritz, France. Group Dinner |

July 3 |
Early departure from Biarritz via TGV
to Paris. Group Dinner |
|
July 4 |
Visit Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, and
Les Invalides. Afternoon visit to the palace and gardens of Versailles.
Late afternoon visit to the Eiffel Tower. |

July 5 |
Morning visit to the Louvre. Visit to La Bourse des Valeurs
de Paris (Paris Stock Exchange). Free afternoon and evening. |
