CEO BannerThe Center for Entrepreneurial Studies invites all Stillman School students undergraduate and graduate students – to join its Entrepreneurship Club.

Club members recently toured Smart Design, a NYC product development company, and sponsored lectures by successful New Jersey entrepreneurs including Mark Galant of Gain Capital and Fred Miggins of Maplewood Bake Company.

Additionally, the Club hosted the first annual Stillman Cup Volleyball Tournament and engaged in a variety of small business fund raising activities.

CEOOur Entrepreneurship Club is the Seton Hall University chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization – a national nonprofit organization of student entrepreneurship clubs at more than 500 colleges and universities. CEO Conference in Chicago, Illinois

        

The Student Entrepreneurship Club was on hand for the CEO Conference held in Chicago, IL this year from November 2nd to the 4th. Leo DeAlmeida (pictured on the left), made his elevator pitch presentation at the conference. Students also had an opportunity to sell both business and networking cards at the conference.

George Mehm, CFO of US Helicopter, explained to students about the process of taking a private company public. Five lucky students where selected at random for a free around trip helicopter ride from the company's Manhattan helipad to JFK Airport.

Jennifer Petersheim and Michael Bellom were hosts at the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards Gala on June 22. Both met a number of entrepreneurs and have lined up an interview for a possible internship.
