Women 3.0 Magazine Names Seton Hall University Among Its 2008 Top 50
MBA Programs for Entrepreneurship
To succeed in the ranking, the schools selected had to have a strong MBA program with a degree in entrepreneurship or an entrepreneurship track with talented faculty in the area of entrepreneurship. In addition, the schools had to be near strong business-hub cities.
- Congratulations to Adjunct Professor Bruce Freeman on his new
book on entrepreneurship "Birthing the Elephant."
Professor Freeman led on panel discussion on the challenges of starting a small business on April 16, 2008. Panelists included Bill Bartzak, President & CEO, MD-Online, Vito DiGiovanni, CEO & Co-Founder, Fleetwash and Marlene Waldock, Founder, First Impressions Communications. The event was sponsored by the Student Entrepreneurship Club.

Entrepreneurs On Campus
Over 50 entrepreneurs visit the South Orange campus each academic year
to speak to students and faculty in classrooms and at extracurricular
events such as the Distinguished Entrepreneur Lecture Series. Recent
speakers
Michael Kempner, founder and CEO of MWW Group, Bob Carr, President and CEO of
Heartland Payment Systems and Steve Waldis, President and CEO of
Synchronoss Technologies, who spoke on Entrepreneurial Leadership on
Nov. 27, 2007. Another notable speaker in April, 2007 was Prince Lorenzo Borghese
(photo), who appeared in the fall 2006
season of ABC's reality TV series The Bachelor. Borghese is CEO of Royal
Treatment Pet Spa, a line of high-end bath, body and skin line products
for pets.
All Stillman School students are invited to join the Student Entrepreneurship Club.
